WATER AND SNACKS AT MEETS
There will be coolers set up with water and Gatorade at each meet. In an effort to be environmentally conscious, we are trying to reduce the amount of water bottles we use and instead ask the runners to get a drink or refill their own water bottle from the coolers instead. Paper cups will be provided.
We ask parent volunteers to provide snacks for up to 100 runners. Usual snack items include cookies, clif bars, granola bars, rolls, crackers, fruit (such as bunches of grapes). Determining how much food to bring is difficult. In the case of bagels, for example, one full paper grocery bag should be enough; for granola bars, 3 jumbo boxes which would fill one paper bag should do. Nonperishable items will be saved for later meets.
Snacks can be taken to each meet assuming you can arrive early enough. You can also drop them off at the Batcave or at the buses. If none of this works, we can make other arrangements, perhaps a day or two before the meet.

Michael Zimmerman has the coolers. If you wish to help him (ie take the coolers, fill with ice water, and Gatorade, bring them to the meet), please contact him at:
